I love that new use cases keep being developed for DSLA. I know the idea is "defi", but is it also part of the strategy to solicit platforms / exchanges to take DSLA positions on behalf of their users / offer to them? Certain platforms like Kucoin have so many offerings, this would fit right in (and you are already listed as a token there too, why not add the use case?) This would greatly increase the potential user base.
Who is the counterparty providing liquidity in order to guarantee the hashrate?
I think the relevance of this type of SLA initially comes down to this.
The RFC mentions “Miners” as possible stakeholders of this design, but such agreement could also operate top-down at the foundation level, or bottom-up at the user level.
In the latter case, this means Service Credits as network supporter tokens.

Fair enough @pujarw.eth. I guess my mind was more focused on the more dramatic cases like UST and Iron/Titan.
In those cases where a `death spiral` has begun the move down is fairly violent and establishing a successful repeg is basically impossible.
Other pegged assets would definitely be a different story.
Easy to say in hindsight. How do you establish a successful repeg without pursuing periodic verifications? What is a UST-like depeg? Does the history of depeg events tend to validate this? (spoiler: it doesn't)
