Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
- I am now onboard with DYDX, stay tuned for my activity!
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
The reason I decided to become a delegator is simple: I want to enjoy and support DAOs, I believe that the most important thing is to create an environment in which each person participating in the community likes and wants to autonomously support the project DAO to which they belong. This is not an easy task, especially in Japan, an island nation with a unique culture and a high language barrier with the rest of the world. As a professional virtual currency trader, I have been active mainly on Twitter. Currently, I have over 60,000 followers on Twitter. In addition to trading, I founded the NFT gaming guild “NGS” last year and am its representative. With my experience as a professional trader and as the head of the NFT Gaming Guild, it is up to me to bring new ideas to the current DYDX ecosystem and reach out to more Japanese users. By doing so, we can help DYDX DAO grow into a larger and more attractive community. First, the DYDX trading application is not very user friendly and we would like to upgrade to an application that is easy to use even for beginners.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
①Continuously hold offline events such as meetups and seminars in major cities in Japan to raise awareness of DYDX https://twitter.com/dYdXJapan/status/1633702388598214658?s=20
②Growing the community by utilizing the LINE Open Chat “DYDX Japan Community”. https://bit.ly/3m07lnq
③We plan to use Twitter to reach out to our 60,000 users and encourage them not only to provide information about DYDX, but also to recruit DAOs and participate in governance voting.

We are currently involved in the governance of AAVE and are passionate about participating in the governance of other projects, like dYdX. Our vision for the future of the dYdX protocol and its governance includes improving various aspects of the protocol, raising viewpoints from underrepresented groups, and actively participating in the decision-making process.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We plan to advance the dYdX community and governance by:
- Regularly engaging in discussions, debates, and sharing our views on the protocol and its governance.
- Actively participating in the proposal and voting process.
- Connecting with community members through various channels, including social media, Discord, and in-person events.
- Leveraging our diverse academic backgrounds and skill sets to contribute to the growth and development of the dYdX protocol and its governance.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
ITU Blockchain has just onboarded.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Since we follow the developments in decentralized protocols on blockchains very closely, we can understand what is beneficial for the user. We want to help users who cannot follow these processes but have voting power to use this power correctly. And of course, we want to contribute to the decentralization of dYdX.
Unlike other delegates, ITU Blockchain is located in Turkey, the country where Europe and Asia meet. We believe that we will be able to provide feedback on proposals similarly to dYdX holders/stakers, especially in Europe and Asia, so we can represent them better. We have also noticed that most of the delegates so far are from the American environment. Both the ITU Blockchain being the delegate and the holders/stakers choosing us as the delegate will support the diversity of ideas.
We have a sizable audience and influence in the Turkish blockchain ecosystem. We think that users who are already dYdX investors, especially through Twitter, will choose us as a delegate. We will announce that ITU Blockchain is a delegate at local and global events we attend, and that interested users can choose us as a delegate.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We have a community in Turkey with more than 2500 members. An authorized team from our community will regularly follow the dYdX governance forums and inform the rest of the community when voting is required. Once we’re accepted into the delegation, we’ll hold small meetings on governance voting to get our community’s opinion. In the end, we will cast our vote according to the collective decision of the community.
We think that a decentralized protocol will come to a much better point by being managed with the opinions and suggestions of different communities. Since ITU Blockchain comes from both Europe and Asia, unlike other delegates, different perspectives will be put together and these perspectives will develop dYdX.
[Additional Information]
ITU Blockchain Club was founded in 2018 at Istanbul Technical University as “Turkey’s first Blockchain Club” by students interested in blockchain technology. It aims to inform everyone who wants to explore blockchain and to create an environment where they can develop themselves. In this direction, it works on all areas touched by blockchain technology, such as DAO, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), NFT, especially blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3. ITU Blockchain continues its adventure by growing its community daily with the international competitions it has won, the partnerships it has established, and the content it produces.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
404 DAO has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct. Voting power will be delegated in the next few weeks.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
404 DAO, in collaboration with Blockchain at Georgia Tech, aims to build a curious and driven community of students centered around making high quality governance decisions. Through our diverse business and technical perspectives, we aim to further the dYdX protocol by actively engaging in community discussions and participating in on-chain governance.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We will primarily contribute by participating in governance forums, actively voting, and posting our reasoning behind votes on Twitter.
Each week, our team will meet to review new proposals and discussions that are occurring with the protocol. After discussions and debates on active proposals, governance members will work to contribute to the governance discussions.
We plan to adhere to three primary values for our governance decisions:
- Sustainable Scalability - Ensure that the changes made will enrich the protocol without compromising its future prospects
- Pioneering - Be willing to take appropriate risks to further innovation and push boundaries
- Decentralized - Steer direction towards broad trustless participation and reduce the risks of single points of failure
Additional Information
404 DAO is a non-profit with the mission of cultivating web3 education and opportunities in Atlanta. The organization was born out of Blockchain at Georgia Tech, a student organization created in August of 2021.
Blockchain at GT has four main committees: Governance, Non-Technical (primarily research), Technical (primarily Solidity development), and Macro (Encourage discussion at meetings and inform members on crypto news). Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
- Vote participation rate: n/a (will be adjusted once the first vote has been made)
- Evidence of responsiveness to the dYdX community: **https://forums.dydx.community/discussion/4407-a-step-towards-a-more-equitable-liquidity-provider-reward-structure. **Additionally, we have continuously provided extensive feedback across major proposals.
- Reasoning for any proposal, vote, or decision made in connection with being an Endorsed Delegate: n/a for now, but all decisions will be communicated in our endorsed delegate profile.
- Conflicts of interest: Wintermute is both an investor in dYdX and a large market maker on the platform.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? With V4 nearing and dYdX’s subsequent decentralization, a major responsibility is put on stakeholders and the community to ultimately govern and grow dYdX into its hegemony over decentralized derivatives. Wintermute has been a long-time supporter, user, investor, and liquidity provider on dYdX, and we intend to support the protocols through its next stage of decentralization with our full capacity.
For a successful transition to full decentralization, there is an obvious need for proactive stakeholders and community members to lay the foundation and ensure the protocol can function in an efficient manner through governance. For our current and future delegators, we aim to be a proactive stakeholder that advocates for the long-term success of dYdX and we will only support proposals that collectively add value to stakeholders (Liquidity providers, traders, token holders, and the community) and the protocol.
Our Core Values:
Long-term value creation over short-term opportunism.
For example, we do not support short-term rent-seeking token distribution programs; or the redistribution of tokens that carry no positive second-order effects.
In contrast, we do support and encourage purpose-driven mechanisms that incentivize positive behaviour and are value-maximizing; or that improve alignment between token holders and the protocol.
**Transparency, alignment, and proactivity. **
We are proactive in providing clear and consistent reasoning behind our decision-making and proposals, ensuring the protocol’s sustainability is at the heart of all governance discussions.
Objective data-driven decision-making.
We use data and research to ensure our final decision is objectively value-accretive for the protocol.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? Alongside active governance participation, Wintermute’s goal is to support dYdX’s growth in a sustainable and robust manner, providing research when needed and proactively creating proposals to address areas of improvement (e.g. dYdX LP Reward Restructure).
Specifically, we will focus on:
- Ensuring DYDX rewards are in-line with market activity, as well as advocating for fair and equitable distributions.
- Exploring avenues to improve DYDX utility.
- Advancing user experience for both traders and market makers through alternative fee structures and incentives.
- Asset listings for V4.
- Streaming important votes and proposals and their impact across our institutional and corporate channels.
We’ll also happily leverage our internal infrastructure from both our trading and venture arms to support the DAO in areas such as simple treasury maintenance, to bespoke cross-chain liquidity management.
We will communicate through forum posts directly, as well as share a summary of our voting behaviour and our reasoning in a separate delegate profile.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

or example, as long-term stakeholders, we’re more likely to take risks that may pay off over the long run. In the past, we voted for Uniswap’s DeFi Education Fund, as we recognize the need for working with policy-makers and regulators. While this had an immediate negative impact on Uniswap DAO’s treasury, we believe that long-term, this will benefit Uniswap by providing regulatory clarity on the $UNI token
Blockchain at UCLA is a student organization that is focused on educating and engaging our campus on blockchain technology. We have an active governance program that has voted on many Uniswap and Compound proposals; the DYDX endorsed delegate program will be a meaningful extension of this. Being an endorsed delegate offers our members a deeper connection to the ecosystem and offers DYDX holders the connection to an active student body that can move the protocol forward in an ethical and sustainable manner.

How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I am a Japanese and belong to dYdX Japan Community. Due to language and strictly regulation, unfortunately, dYdX is not famous in Japan yet.
The Japanese are highly possible to accept the DAO because political policy is democratic same that. I’m vote for dYdX DAO from winter 2021. And I will spread to Japan community about the discussion in commonwealth.
Explain easily Pros and Cons, about the proposals, for everyone can delegate.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? As a community manager in Japan,I am responsible for the daily sharing of information about dYdX in Japan. And probably no one knows more about dYdX than I do.
In the course of these activities, I realized that many people in Japan are interested in trading on dYdX, but few are interested in dYdX governance and DAO.
The Japanese community is one of the largest in the world and is in the top 5 in terms of volume. Despite this, most Japanese users do not participate in governance due to lack of interest in DAO and language barriers.
dYdX plans to fully decentralized with V4 in 2023. Under the current circumstances, I fear that the participation rate of Japanese in dYdX after V4 will be very low.
Therefore, I would like to further promote governance, fill this gap, and make suggestions and discussions that will be beneficial to traders by having me as their representative.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? I have 4 years experience as a professional trader in Japan. And I am familiar with the trading features of dYdX.
Therefore, I am able to listen to traders and provide valuable suggestions and feedback to the community.
Online, I will strive to educate the community by conducting epoch reviews and hosting AMAs. The dYdX Japan community in Discord, which I manage, has over 2000 participants and a Twitter account with over 1000 followers.
Discord:https://discord.com/invite/ZK72kX9rUA Twitter:https://twitter.com/dYdXJapan
Of course, I will be actively involved in discussions and responding to members within the global community, and will strive to make dYdX known to the public.
Through all these activities, I aim to achieve my goal of “Delegates for Traders”.
[Additional Information] Hello! I’m poppi. I studied economics in college and worked in sales at a brokerage firm, but got tired of the old ways and jumped into the crypto industry.
I am currently the Japan Community Manager for dYdX and have been a crypto trader for 5 years.
I will be making suggestions and discussions with the goal of making dYdX an exchange that offers the best UI/UX for traders.

I have just been onboarded so I don’t have a vote participation rate as an Endorsed Delegate although I have participated in multiple forum polls, and voted in most off-chain votes and on-chain votes since March 2022.
**Evidence of responsiveness to the dYdX community: **
- Worked as a dYdX Ambassador in the Governance Burrow
- I engage with Discord community on a weekly basis, I’m a usual AMAs attendee and a usual Hedgies Huddle participant. Check my POAP badges here: https://app.poap.xyz/scan/andydydx.eth
- Commonwealth contributions: https://commonwealth.im/dydx/account/0x0887360965511B7cB918Db24C7ed9aF5eAcbecB2?base=dydx
- Lens Protocol Hedgies Profile manager: https://lenster.xyz/u/hedgiesofficial.lens
- Valuable contributions in the Governance Burrow during the Ambassador Program: Meet the delegate series, DRC: Framework for New Asset Requests, DRC: Hedgies - Lens Protocol Collaboration, building the Hedgies account on Lens Protocol, kickstarting the Hedgies Community Treasury, the Wonderverse implementation for bounties management and the research work on MakerDAO Governance Model & Delegation Incentives, Curve’s Venomics and Sushi’s xModel.
I have just been onboarded so I can’t provide any reasoning for any proposal, vote, or decision made in connection with being an Endorsed Delegate although I’ve made multiple proposals and votes since March 2022.
Conflicts of interest: None, I’m an individual voter.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
I am strongly committed to the dYdX protocol and its governance. I use dYdX as my primary derivatives exchange, I hold dYdX tokens and Hedgies NFTs. I would benefit from dYdX growth as we would enjoy deeper liquidity, less spread as well as dYdX token and Hedgies NFTs appreciation in value.
I want to become an Endorsed Delegate to attract as much voting power as possible to ensure that my perspective of dYdX governance is properly represented. I have true decentralization as my priority number one as I believe that this is the main feature that is going to make dYdX the biggest exchange in the world, thus benefiting dYdX users and token holders in the long run.
I view dYdX as a long-term project and I will never vote for proposals that benefit users or token holders only in the short term and don’t provide any value in the long run.
I will always provide my reasoning for any proposal, vote, or decision that I make based on true decentralization as my top priority but taking into account that some trade-offs must be made to have a working protocol, especially at the beginning.
I’m Spanish, and another reason why I want to become an Endorsed Delegate is to represent the Spanish community and align its governance values with mine.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I will connect with dYdX community by engaging in the Discord channels and in forum threads as well as in any dYdX event (AMAs, Hedgie Huddle, Meet the Delegate Series, Trading Floor, etc).
If I get enough delegation from different dYdX community members I’m open to starting a Discord channel where I would share my views on the different proposals and take any feedback on them. I’m here to provide any assistance on proposals or threads to any community member in general and specifically Spanish community members that have English difficulties.
In addition to commenting my point of view on proposal threads, actively participating in governance, and being up to date on the latest dYdX developments, I will actively research crypto-governance and DAO structure & management topics to provide the best service to my delegators as we transition to a pure dYdX DAO.
Additional Information
Hello, my name is Andy, I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate currently finishing a M.Sc. in Solar Engineering. I did all my student career in Spain and one year abroad in Portugal, and I can speak Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English. I identify with a libertarian and free market capitalism ideology, that’s why bitcoin has attracted me so much since the beginning.
I heard of Bitcoin in 2017 but started researching it and investing in it in 2020 after the COVID-19 Crash. I began studying Ethereum during DeFi Summer, which triggered my obsession with crypto and have been constantly researching DeFi projects since then. I’ve been involved in lots of crypto projects since that, but now I’m focused on the technical developments and the communities behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, privacy tools and coins (Tornado, XMR), EVM-compatible chains & L2s (Polygon, OP, ARB, etc), Cosmos ecosystem, Web3 Social (Lens Protocol), and DeFi products and derivatives like Lending (Aave), CDPs (Maker, Qi), Options (Lyra, Opyn), Perpetuals (dYdX), Insurance (Nexus), etc.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
- Evidence of responsiveness to the dYdX community:
- Actively participating in the forum, surveys and discord regarding governance proposals, and protocol improvements
- Taking part in Hedgie huddle, and AMAs
- Conflicts of interest: I don’t have any investments or incentives that should impact my role as a delegate at the current time
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
I consider myself very strongly aligned with the long-term success of the project and I’m incentivized to drive the protocol towards success in the long run. This is underlined by the fact that I’m a user and token holder since V2 and the airdrop.
The unique economic and technical possibilities and challenges coming along with V4 need to be supported by governance efforts making the transitioning into the dYdX DAO as smooth as possible. I want to take part in those.
I believe in the opportunity of analyzing experiments in the DAO space (e.g. in Maker, Lido, Gitcoin) and traditional governance systems that have been successful to synthesize new, reproducible, and sustainable ways of cooperation and coordination for dYdX.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I will contribute in thinking/researching about e.g.: treasury diversification, staking mechanisms in V4, DAO experiments and best practices and share/discuss the gained knowledge.
I’m gonna write proposals, voting on- and off-chain, being active in the community in forum discussion as well as discord.
Additionally, I believe that building an inclusive community in which everyone can and should be heard is crucial for the success of the dYdX DAO. The recent activities (POAP hunt) are developing this sense of community further and I would love to support here as well.
About me I have studied Chemistry, and Business and have worked in consulting for 6 years with focus on product and project management in the banking and insurance industry. 2.5 years ago I started my crypto journey and am very much interested in all things web3, e.g. DeFi, DAOs (and governance), layer 1s & 2s, and NFTs. When I’m not occupied by crypto, I’m spending time with my family & friends, doing sports, reading, or traveling.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
We have onboarded, and abide by the code of conduct.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Why I want to be a delegate:
I am drawn to help build a better financial system. Putting this into action by lending my time, energy and hopefully delegated vote to working towards safely realising the vision it embodies.
dYdX v3 was a revelation for me as a venue for trading with no central custodian or cumbersome onboarding process. I have looked into most other on-chain derivatives protocols and it is clear to me that dYdX is the best product and vision by far. I am ready to put my energy towards helping it grow to realise its ambitions.
Why tokenholders should delegate to me:
My concern for efficient risk management and vibrant governance of dYdX.
I’ll start by introducing myself. My name is Craig Le Riche, I am a former derivatives trader with 12 years years of experience as both an OTC market maker as well as a hedge fund manager. I have run a derivatives trading desk at a bank and spent a lot of time thinking about the intricacies of trading and risk management.
DeFi is different however and I don’t believe that experts from traditional finance should necessarily be shoe-horned in as technocratic experts by default. I encourage potential delegators to refer to my contributions to governance on commonwealth to judge my character and stewardship of dYdX. If this resonates with you, this is the reasoning you can expect from me.
In addition I have spent a lot of energy to understand the intricacies of this new financial system. In doing so I encountered a very important aspect that gets often overlooked. That is the economic risk optimisation in DeFi protocols. My professional background dealing with many of these same issues as well as appreciating their importance gives me a unique perspective.
I urge anyone who agrees with the importance of an independent viewpoint, protocol efficiency and safety to delegate to me.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I currently contribute to most serious governance threads and will continue to do so regardless. In addition to this I hope to start bringing more rigour to the process of testing and evaluating results as well as managing the risk aspects of the protocol. I have already applied for a grant for myself and a few former colleagues to begin proposing a way for community risk management.
In terms of communication, in addition to forum contributions I really like the idea of starting a delegate platform thread on the forum as Penn Blockchain has done for Aave. I will use this to communicate my voting stance as well as the rationale for anyone to evaluate.
I am also open to DM’s for anyone who would prefer to chat privately.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change. I have read and agree to abide by the Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
- Penn Blockchain is a student-run organization at the University of Pennsylvania, and is one of the most active blockchain clubs in the world. As an Endorsed Delegate, we look forward to continuing to play a direct role in the on-chain governance of dYdX. As a whole, we plan on publishing research, running speaker events, and being one of the core contributors to dYdX. We are deeply committed to preserving DeFi’s core values and dYdX’s mission to be a next generation exchange that creates powerful, transparent, and fair financial products.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
- Our team has different members leading governance for various different protocols we have delegations for. Each week, governance leads will share updates with the club about new proposals and we will engage with the dYdX community as an active participant in forum discussions. We will debate about what to do before voting with our wallet.
- We will gear our voting decisions based on:
- Transparency: We are committed to ensuring transparency of the protocol, and transparency about our decision-making process. We are committed to acting independently without external influence from third-parties. Penn Blockchain is always open to answering questions related to our votes on proposals.

Self-introduction
This is Upload#2851. I started my crypto experience in 2017 and co-founded a blockchain media (blockbeats) in china in 2018. We had observed crypto since then and gained fame in China’s crypto industry.
I started to use dYdX in March 2021 and became a huge fan of this protocol. As an early user, I was awarded a lot of airdropped tokens. I built www.dydxfans.space for Chinese dYdX users and fans, to help them know what the protocol is working on and the updates.
I applied for Endorsed Delegate in this March but found myself more fit for an ambassador, so I applied for the dYdX ambassador program. My application was accepted by the foundation team and I had worked with Gabbie and Alucard since then.
As a member of User Onboarding and Education Burrow under the Ambassador Program, I had finished a lot of work with our burrow-mates. Please see here: https://forums.dydx.community/discussion/4720-user-onboarding-and-education-burrow
My main focus is on onboarding market research and course creation. I had conducted the Crypto Exchange User Onboarding Report for our future work. Please check: https://foregoing-lunge-cab.notion.site/Crypto-Exchange-User-Onboarding-and-Education-Report-c9cc790a45894cdbbbd5935f94942196
Right now I’m working on the Affiliate Program course to help users to invite friends and earn a trading fee commission. (course not online, please wait :) )
I voted for all the DIPs and most of the Snapshot votes.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
I think, as a member of the community, I’d like to stand up and support the decentralization of the dYdX protocol.
The more you help to decentralize the protocol, like becoming an Endorsed Delegate, the better future we will welcome.
As a member of the User Onboarding And Education burrow, I experienced the revolution of working from Web 2 to Web 3. Web 3 is more about getting things down before you talk to the world and when you finish some big task, the blockchain will remember you and you will be rewarded for what you have done for the community. You don’t need to trust anyone, just ask him/her to show the contributions.
I believe, that by spreading this to the community, we will get more people onboarding the community-driven protocol in the near future.
And I sincerely believe that members who checked my work and trust me will delegate to me. And I will use my voting power to get the community better, not only for the investors’ profit but for the community who trusted dYdX.
BTW, anyone who want to participate in the crypto/web3 revolution should apply for Endorsed Delegate!
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I will vote on the benefits of the small and medium DYDX holders. As an Ambassador, I will participate in most of the community events and governance.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
The future is in decentralization. The biggest issue for me in the DAO/ Governance is the centralization of voting power in the protocol to just a few “whallets”. Instead of the current Feudal like system there should be a Democracy that decides for the DAO.
I have been an active community member and bounty contributor and am constantly trying to assist the community / new users in discord in the best way possible.

Reverie has been actively involved with the dYdX protocol, including launching and leading the Grants program, launching the New Asset Listing group, and participating across other developments through votes and discussions. Acting as Grants lead helped us gain a deeper understanding of the protocol and connect with many of the regular community members. We intend to leverage this knowledge to continue submitting proposals and participating in votes and discussions that help push dYdX forward.
Our core mission is to help dYdX grow, and we hope to gather more delegations to support this mission through governance proposals.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We will continue participating in all discussions, chats, and leading the Grants program to contribute towards dYdX growth. At Reverie, we spend a lot of our time thinking about and researching best practices for DAOs to scale. We will continue sharing our learnings with the community with hopes of benefiting dYdX. This includes sharing research posts, posting on the forum, participating in other proposals, and submitting our own governance proposals.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
I am motivated by the fundamental view of dYdX of being the biggest decentralized trading platform in the world. I believe that the future is in decentralization and that the block chain enables this. Seeing the news of dYdX V4 moving to cosmos I believe now more than ever that a well driven community is fundamental for the DAO to grow to its full potential. I am passionate to rise up to this task and I am constantly helping the most I can in the commonwealth forum and in discord. I am also doing as many bounties as I can, like the weekly market review to help the ambassador program. On the forum I give my input on governance related issues so that there is a well rounded view of the points made in the discussion. I think of myself as hard working and as a cheerful person that would be an asset for the DAO and I would be a great delegate for dYdX.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I would connect with the community via discord as I already do but in a much more serious manner. responding the best way I can to any questions or doubts about how to use or how dYdX works. I would try to engage with members that speak two or more languages either in english, spanish or portuguese as their first or second language so that they can engage with other speaking community members to resolve any questions making the protocol more international. For governance I would use the commonwealth forum to discuss governance issues like funding or bounties and even tekenomiks so that there is a wide engagement in all sectors of the DAO.

About You*
I am an Irish Chemist that has been fascinated in the Blockchain. I have been researching and learning about how it works since 2017 while studying my BSC. I have been investing and trading in space ever since. In 2019 I started to work as a Q.A chemist in the UK. I began learning to program in JS solidity in the Ivan on tech academy. This made me dive deep into smart contracts and got me interested in DeFi. After two year i went full time crypto and went to live in Portugal. I produced videos in Spanish explaining how to use different protocols like Aave, Zapper, uniswap , etc. I have good knowledge of how these protocols work and their tokenomics. I am passionate about getting more people into this space. I really see how this technology will revolutionize the world like the internet did.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
The motivation for my endorsed delegate application is to ensure the emerging dYdX community (in discord, Hedgies, and the dYdX Ambassador Program) have a representative voice when it comes to governance.
I am now personally involved in the community to the point it would be irresponsible not to step up as an endorsed delegate.
My goal is to provide a unique perspective that is focused on new user onboarding and education.
I want to improve community representation, transparency, accountability, and decentralization of voting power to push the protocol towards the larger vision of a dYdX DAO.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I will actively work with emerging, motivated, and proven community members (including ambassadors) to get involved in governance as endorsed delegates and understand all aspects of the protocol.
I will actively work on international educational content to ensure we have governance representation from a truly global community.
It is important we have active governance participants from all over the world, not just to improve the decentralization of the protocol but the international growth and lobbying in multiple regions.
I will work to provide active representation for the emerging dYdX Canadian community.
I will work to provide active representation for the emerging Hedgies community. It is important for the Hedgies community to be represented in governance as they are an active and important part of the dYdX ecosystem.
I will similarly provide representation as an Ambassador from the User Onboarding & Education Burrow (https://www.dydxdao.info/ambassador-program/the-burrows/user-onboarding-and-education-burrow)
I believe it is important to provide growing and active representation from new emerging programs within the dYdX ecosystem as we transition towards a full DAO structure.

- dYdX Governance Burrow Ambassador
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? dYdX is currently in a very unique position as market niche & product are to be fully aligned post v4. With full decentralisation on the horizon, the protocol needs all the talent & dedicated contributors it can get its hands on. Believing that decentralisation is the very foundation we are building on, I feel compelled to do as I preach and provide active forum & governance activity (including cross-protocol). My perspective is a holistic one; dYdX will gain complete and unfettered market dominance only if it provides a user experience that not only surpasses other perpetual DEXes, but also trumps all other centralised markets. In a DAO context, governance is an attack vector to closely keep an eye on; too many Tokens on an open market & a malicious actor could gain control over key functionalities if the majority of the community abstains from voting. Delegators are a measure against voter apathy; I strongly encourage every tokenholder to delegate their votes and thereby guarantee healthy governance & decentralisation resilience. How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? Being a Governance Burrow Ambassador, I’ll always be available via discord DMs (friend request first). My contributions will mostly be published on the forum, while the impact of our burrow should be felt by summer this year. Credits to the burrow, we’re all working on streamlining information velocity, making sure that governance news reach those that wish to participate or stay informed. Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct I have just onboarded and abide by the Code of Conduct.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? I’m motivated to get involved out of being in the primal days of DAOs, and wanting to serve a crypto community with a great DeFi platform while experimenting with the next form of organizational community. I was inspired by dYdX’s story of becoming the premier DEX and trailblazing DeFi.
I am a transfer student at Stanford University, and have been involved in blockchain since I transferred in 2020. I interned at Pantera in 2021 doing DD and portfolio development, and got involved with helping found Stanford Blockchain Club’s accelerator program, which is now in its second cohort with much success.
I am particularly interested in researching decentralized finance and (1) how derivatives in the space will develop, and (2) how DeFi will reshape world politics through decentralizing financial soft power. I work with Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) in researching DeFi. Previous to Stanford, I spent 6 years in US Army intelligence.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? I want to contribute to the dYdX community through actively analyzing, commenting, and representing community views on DIPs/CIPs. I want my ideas and the thought processes behind them to be posted and commented on before I take any action, to get the most points of view on them.
dYdX, and other projects, are facing questions with how to maintain users and community participation as the platform progressively decentralizes, and the incentive structures holding up the value of $dYdX changes. I see myself focusing on DAO treasury and balance sheet management via (1) cash and cash flow, (2) operating and financial goals, (3) capital discipline metrics, (4) balance sheet measures, and (5) risk awareness.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.
Additional Information I am an Advisor to both Okra Finance (blockchain based index funds) and the NFT Brewery (enterprise NFT management).

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct Dartmouth Blockchain has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
We are Dartmouth Blockchain, Dartmouth’s official blockchain club. We’d love to participate in governance to provide value for defi protocols, learn more about the space, and create opportunities for our members through this learning.
Some of our members work at Rari Capital, NEAR, and Index. We hope to connect our past learnings and some of our most experienced and hardworking members to opportunities to help shape the current trading platforms into the best platforms of the future. We think that research through governance could be a great way to help achieve this.
We believe in the efficacy of L2 scaling solutions, and we believe that researching the current questions put to governance holders as a governance delegate of dYdX could be a great way to assist in this. We also are in support of dYdX’s v4 mission to completely decentralize, and we hope to play a role in that mission through our governance work.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We think that one of the ways to compete with centralized exchanges like FTX and Binance is for dYdX to fully lean into decentralizing the protocol, enabling community ownership. Currently, dYdX’s order book and matching model is off-chain, due to technical and scaling constraints. However, dYdX v4 was announced in the beginning of 2022, and we’d like to be a part of realizing this complete decentralization. We think that bringing an order book and matching system on-chain is a fascinating challenge from a technical and governance standpoint. We are also curious about how the on-chain order book model will compete with the popular on-chain AMM model, as well as implications of liquidity availability.
To realize dYdX v4, there will be a number of considerations that the community will have to decide upon, an example being improvements towards the dYdX tokenomics. This transition will require governance participants to research, initiate discussions, vote on proposals, and collaborate with key stakeholders in the LLC and Foundation team. We’d love to tackle this project with the rest of the community.
We confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
Xenophon Labs has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct.
Evidence of responsiveness to the dYdX community: forum history
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Xenophon Labs is a Web3 R&D firm that focuses on the intersection of game theory, finance, and software development. We previously worked on docs.dydxalerts.com to create a self-hosted alerting tool, and we most recently published the dYdX trader rewards mechanism review, which enables traders to maximize their rewards and gives guidance for governance to increase protocol revenues.
We have been with dYdX since day one of the grants program, continue driving value to the protocol through deep research into the protocol’s most in-need components through the grants program.
We would like to be endorsed delegates in order to provide an in-the-weeds technical lens, while remaining neutral to all of dYdX’s stakeholders. Xenophon Labs has no direct affiliation with dYdX Trading, dYdX Foundation, dYdX’s market makers, nor any special interest group in dYdX ecosystem. Furthermore, we have done extensive work on dYdX’s mechanisms, most recently on trader rewards, and we have a thorough understanding of how technical changes to the protocol are expected to affect the ecosystem’s stakeholders.
So why should token holders delegate voting power to us? Well, to be clear, not all holders should. For instance, token holders who are primarily interested in short-term growth at the expense of long-term growth will likely not find our voting decisions appealing, and should not delegate to us. However, token holders who want voting exposure to a technical team that knows the ins-and-outs of dYdX’s mechanisms and is not directly affiliated with dYdX ecosystem’s largest holders will find that we are a great place to delegate voting power. Even for individuals who do not know they want voting exposure to a technical team, we encourage that they consider delegating to us, since the majority of voting decisions on the dYdX protocol are technical ones.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We have already contributed to the dYdX community in a number of ways, from small tasks, such as answering questions in discord, to larger tasks, such as conducting trading rewards research. Where we can, we propose changes to the dYdX ecosystem and aim to push them through governance. We encourage folks to look at our history in the forums (Max Holloway | Xenophon Labs), discord (maxholloway#9552), and in the dYdX Grants Program (https://dydxgrants.com/completed-grants/liquidation-alert-tool, https://dydxgrants.com/completed-grants/rewards-optimization-research-and-paper).

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct Blockchain@Columbia has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? Blockchain@Columbia is Columbia University’s premier non-profit blockchain organization focusing on educating and empowering crypto builders, researchers, and creators. We launched the first student group DAO Lion DAO in 2021. Some activities include a grants program for students and participating in Uniswap, dYdX, & Compound governance. Our annual conference focused on crypto and web3 founders from Arbitrum, Polygon, Cosmos, Drift, Audius, and more! We host weekly speakers like Aave Founder Stani, Nansen Founder Alex, and have weekly technical blockchain and development workshops. This year we’re organizing a 3-day hackathon (lionhack.xyz) for students and other builders in the space to help onboard more people to crypto and introduce new projects to the space. We are strong supporters of DeFi and dYdX and want to aid the dYdX community and DAO in making it the preeminent derivatives DEX. Given our experience in our own DAO’s governance as well as in Uniswap and Compound for almost a year and dYdX most recently, we believe that we are strongly equipped to act as a neutral and effective governance delegate for dYdX. How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? We will contribute to the dYdX community and governance by clearly communicating our feedback and reasoning behind our votes on governance proposals, aiding the dYdX community with materials and events targeted towards universities and students in general, and partnering with other delegates in the community to create proposals that improve and/or help sustain the protocol and the DAO. We are eager to participate in shaping dYdX’s effective usage of its treasury, good legal standing and modes of operation as a model to other DAOs in the space, and areas of expansion for the protocol. Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct WOO DAO is looking to onboard, although they have participated in previous votes on behalf of ecosystem partners. We have no conflicts of interest with DYDX.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? WOO DAO represents the WOO Network community, including leading designated market-maker Kronos Research. The interests of WOO DAO are strongly aligned with that of the DYDX community and we are one of the only delegates that can view each vote from the lens of a token holder, market maker, early investor, and trader. On top of that, we have deep experience running both centralized exchanges (WOO X) and DeFi protocols (WOOFi) so can leverage this to drive the DYDX forward.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? We can participate and propose new ideas to the community, use influence in the industry to support DYDX in growth initiatives, and use delegated tokens to vote in an unbiased and informed manner.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? I entered crypto in January 2018 buying the pico-top of ETH around 1.3k and have been here ever since.
My core values align well with dYdX. I not only believe in the Web 3.0 ethos, I live it everyday. Decentralization is key. Empowering the community through crypto economic incentives for alignment in developing and creating more inclusive and accessible financial products is very important to me.
As an active trader, I would like to offer my perspective as one of you in the trenches day in and day out trading on the dYdX platform. I will experience the same issues and be using the same tools as everyone else on a daily basis. My goal is to make sure the users of the platform are heard. dYdX has been a force to be reckoned with. Their mission is lofty, but I believe in the team and what they are building here. I have no doubt dYdX can become the largest exchange in the world; however, we need to make sure the needs of its traders are met.
While I am new to dYdX, I have used numerous trading platforms and been a big user of blockchains.
Trading platforms ** **Binance, Bitmex, Bybit, Coinbase, FTX, HitBTC, HotBit, IDEX, Kraken, Kucoin, PrimeXBT, & various swapping/aggregation platforms. Blockchains ** **Bitcoin, Ethereum (Arbitrum, Optimism), Polkadot (Acala, Astar, Moonbeam)
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? Getting more involved in governance has been something of interest for me, and dYdX is a perfect product-market fit. So I feel now is the time to step up.
I have been a part of a few DAOs as an active participant and seen firsthand how decentralized consensus works in a non-hierarchical structure. I have experienced the Initial chaos that ensues while a DAO is forming, and I know with the right mission/vision, structure always emerges from the chaos.
I attend AMAs, core dev calls, Twitter spaces, and generally try to keep up with the ongoing events in the ecosystem on a day-to-day basis. dYdX will be no exception.
As an active member on discord, I can easily be reached and my views on a proposal will be known far in advance allowing any delegator time to express their view on the matter before a vote is issued. Moreover, I will be active in the commonwealth forums and engage with the entire dYdX community to understand the needs of all its users, not only the traders.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change. I have read and agree to abide by the Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct. I have completed and scored 10/10 on the Endorsed Delegate Self Assessment.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct Blockchain at Michigan has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Blockchain at Michigan’s primary goal is to improve the broader web3 ecosystem by decentralizing decision-making by adding long-term thinking. As university students, we’re less motivated by short-term price fluctuations of $DYDX. Instead, we care more about how dydx is poised to best take market share and grow the overall perpetual futures market as a whole.
For example, as long-term stakeholders, we’re more likely to take risks that may pay off over the long run. In the past, we voted for Uniswap’s DeFi Education Fund, as we recognize the need for working with policy-makers and regulators. While this had an immediate negative impact on Uniswap DAO’s treasury, we believe that long-term, this will benefit Uniswap by providing regulatory clarity on the $UNI token.
With regards to dydx, we seek to provide regulatory clarity, specifically within the US and other countries where the dydx platform is currently banned. While it’s an expensive process, we believe the future of finance doesn’t run on geo-locked front-ends and that finding this regulatory clarity will benefit dydx by expanding the total addressable market.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? We will primarily contribute by participating in governance forums, actively voting, and posting our reasoning behind votes on Twitter.
Specifically, we’ll focus on:
- working with regulation to gain legal clarity around the $DYDX token (i.e., whether or not it’s a security) or and the dydx platform (how we can move into currently banned areas)
- expanding our grants program to focus on developers building on top of dydx, potentially via for-profit investments as well
Other things on our radar but are not the primary focus include:

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
Blockchain at UCLA has just onboarded.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you? Blockchain at UCLA is a student organization that is focused on educating and engaging our campus on blockchain technology. We have an active governance program that has voted on many Uniswap and Compound proposals; the DYDX endorsed delegate program will be a meaningful extension of this. Being an endorsed delegate offers our members a deeper connection to the ecosystem and offers DYDX holders the connection to an active student body that can move the protocol forward in an ethical and sustainable manner.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance? Discussion around proposals will happen in our governance channel in the Blockchain at UCLA discord. From here, students can be connected to the greater DYDX community and engage with members, seeking clarity and knowledge on the direction of the protocol. Our primary contribution is the addition of our active student-governance community to that of DYDX.
